Five Steinways & Five World-Class Pianists in Sarasota

Five World Class Pianists!

Five world-class pianists—Don Bryn, Joseph Holt, Andrew Lapp, Rich Ridenour and Jonathan Spivey—take the Sarasota Opera House stage with five Steinway & Sons grand pianos which Pritchards provided for “Piano Grand,” a concert featuring a wide range of timeless favorites and familiar light classics October 9, 3 p.m., at Sarasota Opera House, 61 N. Pineapple Ave., Sarasota. 

Pritchard Pianos provided the pianos that were delivered to the participating artists -- Richard Capes, Jack Dowd, Lori Loveberry George, Gale Fulton Ross, Steven Strenk and Tim Jaeger and Cassia Kite (who collaborated on one piano) -- in late December. Artists created designs that range from the abstract (Ross) to portraits of iconic musicians (Dowd).

St. Boniface Episcopal Church presented their new Steinway D concert grand to their congregation. A spectacular concert event featured virtuoso performers Jeremy Filsell and Nigel Potts. St. Boniface plans many upscale musical events centered around this magnificent instrument purchased from Pritchards Pianos.

Congratulations to Nancy & Butch on their 50th wedding anniversary. Recently Nancy purchased her third digital piano from Pritchard's. She was doing so well with her old model that she decoded to trade her piano in on a new digital piano Kawai CP piano. Nancy uses the features that allow her sing through a microphone, access her vocal harmonizer feature and record everything that she play or sings into the built in CD drive. Steve Westbrock just performed at Riverwood Golf course activity center to commemorate their anniversary and the new piano.

The Lakewood Ranch Country Club recently purchased their new wireless grand player piano .The Lakewood Ranch piano was purchased from Pritchards Pianos. The piano plays remotely from an i Pad. The beautiful grand is placed in the grand entry.

Painted Pianos in Downtown Sarasota

Six painted pianos provided by Pritchards arrived at Five Points Park. To kick off the celebration six of Sarasota's best pianists played a six piece arrangement of "Stars and Stripes Forever". See organizer and Steinway Artist Rich Ridenour facing and directing his fellow musicians as hundreds of onlookers give their approval with a rousing applause. The pianos were delivered to local Sarasota artist's studios and then returned to Pritchard for tuning and delivery to the park. All of these beautiful pianos can be seen in the downtown area and will be stationed outside prominate businesses and restaurants in the downtown area. The pianos are available for anyone to see and play.

Steinway Artist Randall Faber Plays & Holds Teachers Workshop

Piano Adventures Randall Faber held a wonderful teachers workshop for over 50 teachers at our Sarasota Location! Randall is a Steinway Artist and performs all over the world. He is the author  and founder of the extremely popular "Piano Adventures" piano methods. A big thank you to all our piano teachers who teach children and adults in the Sarasota/Bradenton area!
